                            Statement re Suspension



The Board of PNC Telecom notes the recent press comment regarding the possible
administration of PNC Telecom.

The Board confirms that it is today applying to the High Court for an
administration order over PNC Telecom with a view to protecting the Company's
assets, which consist primarily of cash deposits resulting from the sale of its
businesses in April 2003.

Pending the outcome of the High Court application, the Board has requested the
AIM Market to temporarily suspend trading in the Company's ordinary shares.
