Result of AGM


Following its Annual General Meeting on 18 April 2001 at the company's
headquarters in Luxembourg, RTL Group announces today that the shareholders
approved RTL Group's annual report and accounts for 2000 and the distribution
of a dividend of EUR 0.85 per share to shareholders. The dividend will be paid
on 8 May instead of 15 May as announced previously. The associated record date
for shareholders is 27 April.
