JULIE DELPY'S TWO DAYS IN PARIS
TO CLOSE EDINBURGH FILM FESTIVAL 2007

The Works Media Group plc, the independent film distributor, announces today
that Oscar nominated screenwriter, Julie Delpy's quirky comedy Two Days in
Paris, has the prestigious honour of closing this year's Edinburgh International
Film Festival (EIFF). Delpy - who wrote, directed, produced and stars in the
film - will travel to Scotland for the UK premiere of Two Days in Paris on
August 25. Visitors to the festival will also have the chance to meet Miss Delpy
in person as she hosts a special masterclass on Saturday August 24 in Edinburgh.
Two Days in Paris has recently been released in France, where it was an
outstanding critical and commercial success.

Speaking after the announcement EIFF artistic director, Hannah McGill commented:
"I'm delighted to be closing the Festival with Two Days in Paris. Julie Delpy is
an artist I have long admired, and this is a wonderfully witty, mischievous,
wise film that proves the extraordinary range of her talents. I can't wait to
show it to our audiences, and I look forward to Edinburgh launching it on a very
excited UK public!"

Norman Humphrey, CEO of The Works, added, "We are delighted that one of our
films has been given such an honour. I expect a burst of publicity and a
justifiable buzz to follow the films premiere at The Edinburgh Film Festival,
which will ensure the film has good momentum as we release it across the UK at
the end of August."

About 'Two Days in Paris'

In Two Days in Paris Julie Delpy, (Before Sunset, Before Sunrise) and Adam
Goldberg (Deja Vu, Saving Private Ryan) star opposite one another as a neurotic
couple from New York, struggling to stay together during a two-day stopover in
Paris.

Featuring an original score by Julie Delpy, Two Days in Paris takes a candid
look at the relationship of French photographer, Marion (Delpy), and American
interior designer, Jack (Goldberg), as they attempt to re-infuse their
relationship with romance by taking a vacation in Europe. Their trip to Venice
hasn't really worked out - Jack came down with gastroenteritis - but they have
higher hopes for Paris. However, the combination of Marion's overbearing
non-English-speaking parents, her flirtatious ex-boyfriends, Jack's obsession
with photographing every famous Parisian tombstone and his conviction that
French condoms are too small, only add fuel to the fire.

Will they be able to salvage their relationship? Will they ever have sex again?
Or will they merely manage to perfect the art of arguing?

Co-starring the multiple-award-winning German actor Daniel Bruhl (The Bourne
Ultimatum, Ladies In Lavender), Two Days in Paris is produced by Christophe
Mazodier and Thierry Potok and will be released at cinemas across the UK by The
Works UK Distribution Ltd on 31 August 2007. Certificate tbc
