Advanced Battery Technologies Inc. (ABAT) is a holding company with one subsidiary, Cashtech Investment Ltd. (Cashtech). Cashtech Investment Ltd. is also a holding company with only one subsidiary, Heilongjiang ZhongQiang Power-Tech Co. Ltd. (ZQ Power-Tech). ABAT also owns a 49% interest in Beyond E-Tech Inc., a company that distributes cellular telephones in the United States. In April 2009, ABAT completed the acquisition of Wuxi Angell Autocycle Co. Ltd.

"As ABAT's own-intellectual property, the polymer lithium ion battery employs a stack technique. Its structure is a multi-stack parallel connection rolling type. This technique has gained patent rights from the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China. ABAT is now in the manufacturing stage. Various tests of the product show that it is practically superior to the liquid-lithium ion battery now widely used in the market."
