OKLAHOMA CITY, Aug. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BancFirst Corporation (NASDAQ GS:BANF) has issued a statement regarding recent unusually high trading activity and increased market price of its 7.20% Cumulative Trust Preferred Securities, traded under the symbol BANFP.  In a filing with the SEC on a Form 8-K, the company stated that the unusual activity appears to have begun in August, and it does not know of any reason for, or the source of, the trading activity.  The Trust Preferred Securities pay a quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share, have a stated maturity of March 31, 2034, and are callable at any time at the par value of $25 per share.
