Vignette Corp. (NASDAQ:VIGND) today announced that it has named Brett Bachman as senior vice president of products, strategy and worldwide marketing. In this role, Bachman will drive Vignette's products, marketing and go-to-market strategies, and is charged with guiding the product lifecycle process from product requirements definition through positioning, packaging, and deliverables for Vignette's award-winning enterprise content management solutions. Before MS2, he held senior executive positions with leading companies including Oracle, Informix, and Rational Software, and was a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Most recently, Bachman was vice president and general manager of the decision management software and solutions unit at Fair Isaac Corp., where he was responsible for more than $100 million in total revenue. While in this position, he helped to accelerate revenue growth by more than 37 per cent on a sequential quarterly basis.
