               New Media Industries plc ("the Company" or "NMI")

                                 Trading update

The Directors of NMI would like to update the market as to a number of
significant new business wins that the Group started working on last year,
namely:

     * the appointment of NMI Solutions by Emap, as advertising and
       communications agency for the #8m launch of Zoo Weekly magazine;

     * the appointment of NMI Production by adidas as lead supplier for
       centralised global production; and

     * the appointment of Target NMI by Sega Europe for Media planning, buying
       and strategy.

The Directors believe that these wins underscore a concerted assault by the
Company on various market sectors and increasing client confidence in the NMI
Group ethos.
