Mr. Mark Fedikow reports
NORTH AMERICAN NICKEL INC.: MANIITSOQ DRILLING/FIELD SERVICES CONTRACTS AWARDED
North American Nickel Inc. has awarded drill and camp contracts for 2014 exploration at its 100-per-cent-owned Maniitsoq nickel-copper-cobalt-platinum-group-element project in southwest Greenland.
Cartwright Drilling Inc. of Goose Bay in Central Labrador, Newfoundland and Labrador has been awarded the Diamond Drilling contract and Xploration Services Greenland ApS of Nuuk, Greenland has been awarded the Logistics/Camp contract. Both companies are highly experienced in Greenland exploration operations and have been part of previous exploration campaigns for the company.
DRILLING PROGRAM
For the upcoming drill season North American Nickel is planning a two drill program at its Maniitsoq project. The first drill is set to test immediate down plunge extensions of nickel sulphide mineralization as defined by the 2012/2013 drill campaigns and the associated Crone three-component borehole electromagnetic (BHEM) geophysical surveys at the Imiak Hill Conduit Complex (IHCC) focusing on:
-- Imiak Hill, drilling down plunge of drill hole MQ-13-028, (see figure 1, Nov, 2013) which intersected 24.75 metres of near massive to massive sulphide grading 3.19% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 0.11% Co, including;
-- 17.91m of 3.80% nickel, 1.42% copper, 0.13% cobalt and 0.01 g/t PGM
-- Imiak North, drilling down plunge of drill hole MQ-13-029, (see figure 2, Nov, 2013) which intersected 55.75m of disseminated to near massive and massive sulphide grading: 1.28% nickel, 0.36% copper, 0.04% cobalt, and 0.03 g/t PGM, including;
-- 9.99m of 4.65% nickel, 0.33% copper, 0.13% cobalt and 0.08 g/t PGM
-- Spotty Hill, drilling down plunge of drill hole MQ-12-005, (see figure 3, Nov, 2013) which intersected 123.94 meters of disseminated, net- texture, to near massive and massive sulphide grading: 0.81% nickel, 0.21% copper, 0.03% cobalt & 0.26 g/t platinum (Pt) + palladium (Pd) + gold (Au), including:
-- 24.20 m @ 1.75% Ni, 0.34% Cu, 0.06% Co & 0.52 g/t Pt+Pd+Au.
Before final decisions on targeting the drills at the IHCC (see figure 4, Nov, 2013) are made, NAN's exploration team will analyse the results of the ground geophysics Deep Penetrating Electromagnetic (DPEM) and Gravity surveys scheduled to begin in mid-April at the IHCC.
The second drill will focus on priority regional EM exploration targets commencing at a new target 25 kilometres to the northwest of the IHCC called Pingo. It is a historical showing that graded 1.09% Ni and 1.00% Cu in a mineralized grab sample within a norite host rock. NAN geologists will meet in early April to finalize the list of regional exploration targets to be drill tested this year.
Drill and support crews will be on the ground on June 7th with drilling scheduled to start approximately June 10th.
Cartwright Drilling Inc. was established in 1995 and has been servicing the mining/exploration industry with lightweight, fully hydraulic custom built drills. Cartwright has drilled in Greenland continuously since 2004, sometimes with as many as six rigs. Long term clients are Hudson Resources, Nuna Minerals, Red Rock Resources and London Mining PLC. Cartwright specializes in helicopter-portable drill jobs in remote areas. The company has drilled in numerous provinces throughout Canada, South America and Africa, and currently owns 25 drill rigs, including 4 geo-technical drills.
LOGISTICS/CAMP SERVICES
Xploration Services Greenland ApS (hereafter XS), and North American Nickel Inc. have entered into an administration, liaison and logistics agreement. XS will assume responsibility for pre-field season operational and support planning; spring season operation; mobilization; operation of main camp, including catering; demobilization and post-field season operational reporting. This includes all logistics and related issues in connection with NAN's 2014 Maniitsoq exploration & drilling program.
XS, will, on behalf of NAN, take care of administration and assist with reporting requirements, as required. XS will also undertake consultation with Tax Authorities, the Bureau of Minerals and Petroleum (BMP) and the four Municipalities of Greenland in regard to issues related to corporate matters, personnel and subcontractors.

Yes,
The Imiak Hill Complex hosts 3 Ni grade pipes within a 1 sq triangular km radius.
The company will be drilling those 3 pipes in 2014.
I expect that those 3 pipes is where the initial tonnage will be derived from.
It's a large 70km belt, so there should be other high grade discoveries along the way in 2014.

Nickel Heads for Bull Market on Risk of Further Russia Sanctions
By Alex Davis and Jae Hur Mar 17, 2014 10:05 PM ET
Nickel climbed the most in two weeks and headed toward a bull market as an export ban by Indonesia and the risk of sanctions against Russia raised concern that supplies will be crimped.
The metal for delivery in three months in London rose as much as 2.2 percent to $16,225 a metric ton and traded at $16,205 at 10:47 a.m. Hong Kong time. A settlement of $15,942 would be 20 percent higher than the Nov. 27 closing low, meeting the common definition of a bull market.
The U.S. and the European Union imposed sanctions on Russian and Ukrainian government officials yesterday, with the U.S. threatening further measures if Russia doesn’t pull back from Crimea. Russia’s OAO GMK Norilsk Nickel is the world’s biggest nickel producer.
“It’s all about supply concern, with escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia,” said Hiroyuki Kikukawa, the general manager of research at Nihon Unicom Inc. in Tokyo.
The metal has gained 17 percent since the start of the year after Indonesia banned exports of raw ore on Jan. 12 in an effort to foster domestic processing.
Copper in London advanced 0.8 percent to $6,531.75 a ton while Comex copper futures for May delivery rose 1 percent to $2.981 a pound. In Shanghai the contract for June increased 2.2 percent to 45,170 yuan($7,306) a ton.
On the LME, aluminum, lead, nickel, zinc and tin all climbed.

N.A. Nickel plans 2014 program for Maniitsoq
2014-03-03 07:02 ET - News Release
Mr. Rick Mark reports
NORTH AMERICAN NICKEL INC.: 2014 PLANNING UNDERWAY FOR MANIITSOQ NICKEL SULPHIDE PROJECT; DEEP EM, HELICOPTER, CAMP LOGISTICS AND DRILLING CONTRACTS TENDERED
Plans are now being implemented to begin North American Nickel Inc.'s 2014 exploration and drill programs at its 100-per-cent-owned Maniitsoq nickel-copper-cobalt-PGM (platinum group metal) project in southwest Greenland.
The company has now awarded or tendered the following contracts.
Air Greenland has been selected again this year to provide helicopter support for all of NAN's field programs. Its experienced pilots and favourable terms ensure quality service at competitive pricing for all the company's exploration activities, including drilling.
Tenders for camp and logistics services are being evaluated and will be awarded in the coming week.
Tenders for surface TDEM and gravity surveys will also be awarded in the coming week. The ground teams are scheduled to begin work in mid-April. The purpose of these surveys is to assist in identifying deep targets at the Imiak Hill conduit complex and the Fossilik showing, which is approximately nine kilometres to the south of the IHCC. The programs and analyses are scheduled to be completed by the end of May, in advance of the 2014 drill program.
Drill tenders have been received and will be awarded by the end of March. Drilling is scheduled to begin in early June this year with an aggressive program at the IHCC, the site of high-grade intersections including, at Imiak Hill, MQ-13-026: 18.62 metres core length grading 4.31 per cent nickel, 0.62 per cent copper and 0.14 per cent cobalt from 156.70 m to 175.32 m, announced on Oct. 10, 2013.
More than 100 new conductive targets identified from the company's 2013 airborne EM survey have now been reviewed based on their geophysical responses. Those targets interpreted to be high priority will be assessed by surface prospecting and geological mapping, and then prioritized for the regional drill program, which is planned to be supported by a second drill, scheduled to begin in early July.
North American Nickel chief executive officer, Rick Mark, states: "We have learned a great deal about working in Greenland and even more about the northern portion of our 100-per-cent-owned, Sudbury-basin sized property located in the moderate climate of southwest Greenland. The incredible high-grade intersections from the Imiak Hill conduit complex last year have captured the nickel world's attention. Our geological model is supported by the mineralization improving as we go deeper and the three mineralized conduits at the IHCC being open at depth. We are committed to aggressively drilling to test for underlying nickel sulphide deposits. The grade is evident; this year we plan to build the tonnage. It will be an exciting year for all of our shareholders."

Indonesia Gives Details on Its Mineral Export Ban
Indonesia clarified its controversial mineral export ban Monday, closing the door on the export of ores but allowing the export of six forms of concentrate that will permit some of the country's biggest foreign miners to continue operations. The government
clarified on Monday that miners in Indonesia can pay a 20%tax to be able to export Cu, Fe ore, Mn, Pb, Zn and ilmenite for three years as long as the shipments meet minimum purity levels.
The export of mineral ores, including nickel and bauxite, is off limits.
Mark Shelby of Royal Nickel Corporation (RNC.T)made the following points with regards to the Indonesia’s total ban on Ni ore exports. The effect is to remove 25-30%of the world Ni supply from the world market. Indonesian ore exports in 2013 expected to be >50Mt containing ~600kt of nickel in 2013.
Approximately 3/4 of Chinese NPI production was sourced from Indonesian ore and the export ban will also severely impact nickel producers in Ukraine, Australia, and Japan
China has a limited ability to replace Indonesian ore and there is no certainty that significant NPI/Fe Ni capacity will be built in
Indonesia in the near future
There are very limited sources of high-grade (1.8%+) laterite ores outside Indonesia. RNC believes that the Philippines could only supply 5-10Mt of high grade ore (only 10-20%of Indonesian current exports). Please note that the Philippines has also considered export restrictions as well. As a result, a strictly enforced ban could Pb the world to run out of nickel as early asmid-2015 despite record LME inventories of 260 k t and large ore stockpiles in China 30-35Mt of ore stocks to be fully consumed to sustain 2014 Chinese
NPI production at 450-500kt Adecline in Chinese NPI production to 100-200kt in 2015 will Pb to market deficits of 300-400kt that can consume the LME Ni inventory byH215.
Comment: Indonesia’s move to ban the export of Ni ores should be very positive for Ni prices in the intermediate term. In the longer term, the limited high grade laterite Ni Resources will limit production of low cost Ni pig iron. As a result, we believe that
Ni prices will increase and there will be justification for new Ni mines.
