Atlantic Energy Solutions, Inc. (OTC:AESO) is pleased to announce that the actual energy savings realized by Moriah Central School District has significantly exceeded the original expectations set for the project. The three phase Moriah Central School District energy efficiency project began ten years ago in 1998. The first phase provided the school district with a new roof system by Firestone, windows, lighting, new weatherization, Cleaver-Brooks boilers and a new building automation system by AutomatedLogic. Phase two consisted of Atlantic Energy acting in the capacity of a construction manager for a new addition in the Port Henry, NY school district. The third and final phase of the project entailed designing and installing an off-grid, oil driven co-generation plant made by Cummings (NYSE:CMI). Upon completion of the project, it was anticipated that the school district would realize a 40% reduction in energy costs. To date that expectation has been far exceeded with actual savings to the district and its tax payers surpassing 60%. Atlantic Energy Solutions is comitted to its mission of providing energy efficiency and savings to its customers long after the physical renovations are completed. In keeping with this mission Atlantic Energy monitors each of its clients energy efficiency from their U.S. headquarters in Saratoga Springs, NY, in an effort to ensure ongoing energy efficiency and customer service.
