STOCKHOLM--Swedish garden equipment manufacturer Husqvarna AB (HUSQ-B.SK) said Wednesday it has appointed Kai Warn as President and CEO from Jul. 1, 2013.

 
   MAIN FACTS:

-Hans Linnarson, who was appointed President and CEO in 2011, will continue to work for the Group until he retires early 2014.

-Kai Warn worked for power and automation technologies company ABB Ltd (ABB) between 1985 and 2004, where he held various senior international positions. Between 2004 and 2010, he was President and CEO at Seco Tools AB (SOOOF). Since then he has been Operations Partner at private equity firm IK Investment Partners.

-Shares closed Tuesday at SEK37.89, valuing the company at SEK21.84 billion.
