Naspers Ltd. said late Thursday that Emilie Choi resigned as a director at both Naspers and Prosus N.V.

South African investor Naspers--which owns a major stake in Chinese tech giant Tencent Holdings Ltd. through Prosus--said Ms. Choi's resignation was effective from today.
