Zurich Insurance Group AG said Tuesday that it has appointed Paolo Mantero as chief strategy officer, effective from the start of 2022.

Mr. Mantero is currently chief financial officer for commercial insurance and will oversee strategy resources globally, Zurich said.

Mr. Mantero succeeds Giovanni Giuliani, who will become chief executive officer of Zurich Italy, subject to regulatory approval, the company added.
