Goebel, Jr. as Vice President of Global Sourcing and Supply Chain. Mr. Goebel will be responsible for all aspects of the Company's supply chain activities including the development of commodity vegetable oil feedstock supply arrangements, transportation and logistics contracting and the overall administration of procurement processes. Mr. Goebel previously worked at MeadWestvaco, a packaging solutions and products company, as the acting Vice President, Supply Chain/Director of Customer Service. He was responsible for redesigning the corporate order-to- cash processes, strategizing organizational and process changes in capacity planning, demand forecasting, inventory management/ operations, logistics/distribution, and customer service. In addition, he was a business unit executive directly involved in the corporate transformation of MeadWestvaco. For nearly 20 years, Mr. Goebel worked at ExxonMobil and its predecessor, Mobil Corporation, in many different leadership capacities including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, operations, marketing, and sales. As an executive Mr. Goebel led a key chemical manufacturing site, the largest specialty facility in the corporation, to benchmark performance in a multitude of areas, including: safety, productivity, expense management, return on capital employed and service levels. He was responsible for a multi-plant organization in several locations and led a diverse organization including, operations, engineering, maintenance, quality control, training, finance/controls, logistics/planning, safety, health, environmental, procurement, medical, human resources, and public affairs. As a Business and Marketing Manager at Mobil, Mr. Goebel developed strategic plans for the division and sponsored all technical development and research programs, leading to record setting financial results for margins, volume growth, and income. He developed the first advertising and communications programs to increase brand recognition to grow multiple product categories. In addition, Mr. Goebel was responsible for global pricing of all products. Mr. Goebel holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from University of Minnesota along with graduate studies at both the University of Texas at Dallas and Northeastern University in Boston.
