Sanofi-Aventis (SNY) expects to generate more sales of its swine flu H1N1 vaccine in the first quarter of 2010 than in the last quarter of 2009, company executives said Friday on a conference call on third-quarter results.

Sanofi expects to make over $500 million in sales of the vaccine in the fourth quarter.

Chief Executive Chris Viehbacher said that the sales boost from the swine flu vaccine could continue into April of next year.
