Eastspring Investments, the Asian asset management business of Prudential PLC (PRU.LN) said it has appointed Francis Woo as its new chief financial officer.

Mr. Woo will be based in Singapore and would be responsible for the financial management of the asset manager, Eastspring said in a statement Wednesday.

Mr. Woo was previously the chief financial officer, Asia, for TPG Capital Asia, overseeing the private equity firm's profitability and performance of its investment in Asia.

Eastspring Investments has over $216 billion assets under management providing investment solutions in various asset classes including equities and fixed income.

The company has also appointed Joyce Chan to head its intermediaries business, the statement said.
