PR Newswire (US)
SANTA ANA, Calif., March 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TROY Group,
Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: TROY) announced today that it has concluded
an agreement with Centro de Compensacion Automatizado (CCA) to
provide software to process and distribute ACH transactions for the
primary banks in Chile. CCA is the Chilean equivalent of the US
Federal Reserve or the Electronics Payment Network (EPN). In
February of 2006, TROY announced EPN's addition of TROY's ACH
Origination software to help community banks and credit unions
offer more advanced ACH payment services. CCA adds another central
ACH clearing facility as a TROY solution client. The CCA solution
consists of TROY'S StarACH processing software and HP Integrity and
ProLiant servers and HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array
hardware. The combined solution provides the processing power to
exceed the current large transaction volumes and short processing
windows that CCA must address. "TROY and HP conducted a series of
benchmark tests using CCA data that demonstrated the processing
speed and capacity of the system," said Luis Feldman, Senior Vice
President of CCA. "We also considered the ability of the system to
grow with our requirements and the cost of a server based system
versus a traditional solution. We are confident the StarACH
solution is flexible enough to address the specific needs of Chile
as well as keep our operation aligned with NACHA requirements,"
added Feldman. Patrick Dirk, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
of TROY Group, Inc., said, "We are pleased that CCA selected
StarACH to address their business requirements. CCA is the
beginning of a focused effort that TROY and HP have undertaken to
pursue other banks, financial institutions, and central clearing
houses in the Latin American region." "StarACH complements the
comprehensive suite of payments services we offer," said Joe Lott,
Director of Payments, WW financial services industry, HP. "The
application, combined with the HP platforms, provides a pathway for
expansion to other payment solutions we currently offer and plan to
offer in the future," added Lott. For more information about CCA's
