Centamin plc ("Centamin" or "the Company")

BLOCK LISTING OF ORDINARY SHARES

Centamin hereby advises that an application has been made to the Financial Conduct Authority for admission to the Official List, and to the London Stock Exchange plc for admission to trading, for a total of 50,860,577 ordinary shares of no par value. It is anticipated that these shares will be admitted on 3 March 2014.

These shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issued in tranches to accepting Ampella Mining Limited ("Ampella") shareholders, pursuant to the terms of the Bidder Statement in relation to the off-market takeover offer for Ampella.

When issued, these shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.
