First Payment of Redemption Monies 
 
Further to the results of the Redemption Proposals announced on 24 June 2010, 
the Board of Goldman Sachs Dynamic Opportunities Limited (the "Company") 
confirms that the first redemption payment will be made on the basis of the 
respective NAVs of the Redeemed Shares as at 30 September 2010.  Redeeming 
Shareholders will be paid approximately 82 per cent of the total amount 
currently due, on or around 18th November, 2010. US dollar realisation proceeds 
received by the Company will be converted into the relevant currency of Redeemed 
Shares using market exchange rates as of 15th November, 2010. 
 
This first payment of redemption monies to Redeeming Shareholders whose Redeemed 
Shares are held in uncertificated form (that is in CREST) will be made through 
the CREST system to the Redeeming Shareholder's CREST account. Payments of 
redemption monies to Redeeming Shareholders whose Redeemed Shares are held in 
certificated form (that is not in CREST) will be made by way of cheque (drawn on 
a branch of a UK clearing bank) by post to the registered address of the 
Redeeming Shareholder (or, in the case of joint holders, the holder whose name 
appears first in the register of members) at the sole risk of that Redeeming 
Shareholder. 
 
It is expected that the balance of redemption monies in respect of Redeemed 
Shares should be payable in one or more further tranches and once sufficient 
assets have been realised in the Redemption Portfolio to make such payment(s). 
It is not possible to identify a specific date for such payment(s) since such 
payment(s) remains subject to various factors including Liquidity Constraints.
