Incorporated (NASDAQ-GS: THRM), the global market leader and a
developer of innovative thermal management technologies, announced
today it will feature its new heated automotive armrests, among a
number of its other thermal automotive products and prototypes, at
the 65th annual International Auto Show in Frankfurt, Germany September 10-13. Gentherm's products will be
displayed in Hall 4.1, Booth D23.
The heated door and center armrests for both the front and rear
interior spaces of a vehicle are powered by the same proven
technology used by Gentherm in its traditional seat heating
products. The armrest heating is turned on and off using the
seat heating control switch.
The new armrests will be featured in the interior comfort area
of the Gentherm booth. In addition, on display in the
Gentherm booth will be its products in seat comfort, thermoelectric
technology, electronics and cable technology. These products
will include the Company's popular heated and cooled, heated and
ventilated and heated seat systems, which are used on 8+ million
vehicles per year produced by every major original equipment
manufacturer worldwide; its innovative thermoelectric generator
(TEG) technology that transforms exhaust heat into electricity; its
thermal cup holders and cool bins; and its heated steering wheels
and other thermal products.
