Tapestry Inc. (TPR) on Wednesday named Thomas A. Glaser chief operations officer, effective July 15.

The luxury retailer said in a release that Mr. Glaser will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain and the information technology backbone for Tapestry and its brands with functional oversight. He will report directly to the company's chief executive officer, Victor Luis.

Mr. Glaser comes to Tapestry from VF Corp. (VFC), where he most recently held the position of vice president of supply chain.
