From looking at the Reddits again, there is some concern on how the QNX rebranding would affect the value of BB. Like if they decide to IPO QNX, what would that do to the value?

With that said, there isn't an underlying reason I'm able to find.

My torment. Purchased good number of shares around $2.30. Do I sell when hits $4.60 doubling my money on those buys or hold like the hog at the trough? Concern is BB is overweight in my portfolio

I did notice on the Exhibit Page for CES that the company both had QNX name and not Blackberry.   It looks like they are working to make QNX have its own identity.   Will be interesting to see how things shape up.

“BlackBerry’s shares are climbing 4% after the firm disclosed that it was renaming its BlackBerry IoT unit. Going forward, QNX will be the name of the division. Very true. We've made strides from where the price was at beginning of year. And the drops in recent days haven't been as drastic as they have been in the recent past. I'm looking forward to 2025 and where things go with BB.

While we wait for the next catalyst, Blackberry will indeed be back in Vegas for the 2025 CES Event.

Per the website: "BlackBerry IoT President Mattias Eriksson will unveil a major brand shift, present a strategic business overview, announce significant CES news, and spotlight key customer and partner updates, along with the latest developments BlackBerry QNX is engaged in within the automotive industry.
