Urbana Corporation ("Urbana") (TSX:URB)(TSX:URB.A)(TSX:URB.WT) is pleased to
announce that it has entered into an agreement to buy another 5 memberships on
the Kansas City Board of Trade ("KCBOT") for approximately US$2.9 million. This
purchase increases Urbana's stake in the KCBOT to approximately CDN$4.4 million
or 7 memberships worth 3.6% of the exchange.


The purchase of the KCBOT seat is subject to approval by the KCBOT's Board of
Directors.
