Norwegian telecom operator Telenor ASA (TEL.OS) said Monday it
has appointed Richard Olav Aa as group chief financial officer.
His start date will be announced later, it said.
Aa is currently investment director of Arendals Fossekompani
ASA, and has previously held management positions at Elkem, Norsk
Vekst AS and Bertel O. Steen AS. He has a Master of Science in
Business and Economics.
"I am very pleased that Richard Olav Aa has accepted to take on
the position as CFO in Telenor with the responsibility for the
financial management of the group's global operations," said Chief
Executive Jon Fredrik Baksaas.
Shares in Telenor closed Friday at NOK77.45.
