FDA Approval for Sleek OTW Catheter

ClearStream Technologies Group plc ("ClearStream" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has received clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration for its ground-breaking Sleek OTW catheters.

The Sleek OTW is an upgrade to the range of ClearStream's catheters that are distributed by Cordis Corporation, a worldwide leader in the development and manufacture of interventional vascular technology.

Andrew Jones CEO of ClearStream commented:

"Gaining FDA clearance for the Sleek OTW is another key milestone for ClearStream in its drive to become one of the leading suppliers of innovative devices for use in interventional peripheral angioplasty procedures. This product upgrade enhances the range of catheters distributed throughout the world by Cordis under the distribution agreement and follows on from the extension to the term of this contract that was signed in January of this year.

"Achieving this FDA clearance is a significant step in our plans for FY2011, as this product can now be distributed in the US market, the largest in the world for peripheral devices".
