Notification of transactions by persons discharging managerial
responsibilities and persons closely associated with them
11 July 2023
De La Rue plc (the "Company") announces that on 10 July 2023
awards made under the De La Rue Deferred Bonus Plan (the "DBP") to
Clive Vacher, Rob Harding and Ruth Euling (each of whom is an
Executive Director and a Person Discharging Managerial
Responsibilities ("PDMR") of the Company) vested and were
released.
In line with the rules of the DBP, the Company withheld a
proportion of each award and sold sufficient Shares to fund income
tax and national insurance withholdings and the associated dealing
costs. These Shares were sold in the market on 10 July 2023 at a
weighted average price of 49.15 pence per Share.
The awards which vested were granted under the DBP on 8 July
2021 (the shares released being the second half of the portion of
the FY21 bonus which was deferred and share settled) and on 6 July
2022 (the shares released being being the first half of the portion
of the FY22 bonus which was deferred and share settled). The second
half of the DBP awards made on 6 July 2022 will vest on 8 July
2024, subject to the rules of the DBP.
The vesting of these awards and the sale of shares to fund
withholdings creates a change in the interests of each of them in
the ordinary shares of 44(152) /(175) p of the Company
("Shares"):
