Resignation of Director

The board of FutureFuel Corp. ("the Company") announces its acceptance of
William J. Dore's letter of resignation as a director of the Company with effect
from June 1, 2007.

Mr. Lee E. Mikles, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, said, "On behalf of
FutureFuel Corp., I wish to thank Bill for his stewardship and dedication. I
have valued working with Bill and the company has gained greatly from his
counsel. His dedication and expertise have been instrumental to the company's
progress and success."

The board has 7 members following his resignation.
