Cancellation of C shares 
 
Following the conversion on 12 June 2009 of C shares of 5p each in 
the Company into new Ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company, the 
share certificates are no longer valid and application has been made 
to the UKLA and to the London Stock Exchange for cancellation of the 
C shares from the Official List and from trading on the London Stock 
Exchange's Main Market for listed securities. 
 
It is anticipated that such cancellation will occur with effect from 
17 June 2009.
