Re: Update on current position with GallifordTry


The Board of Rok, the listed property solutions group, notes the statement made
by GallifordTry plc ("GallifordTry") at its AGM on 31 October 2003 and confirms
that last week it submitted a proposal to the Board of GallifordTry revising the
terms of its approach.  This proposal was subject to certain limited usual
conditions, principally relating to the outcome of due diligence.


The Board of Rok announces that, following GallifordTry's refusal to engage with
Rok and to facilitate due diligence, Rok is withdrawing its interest in pursuing
an offer for the company.
