Do you have any numbers? You're pulling this out of your ass. I have no idea if EV is more dangerous than internal combustion or any other vehicle. There is no way of moving around that doesn't have risk. Base your argument on facts, not bias.

Refineries are generally located away from populated area based on their inherent danger. EV battery have destroyed how many ships and how many building structures ?

Not a real statistic to stick in the Russian refinery fire due to a WAR.

Please if you feel so secure with the EV battery, park it directly under your bedroom, the bedrooms of your children, and the bedrooms of your closest most beloved family members.

Then charge it.

Usually start when water hits them. Really no news on how fire started but they need some sort of barrier around battery. Tesla has had several story's of flooding around car and car caught on fire.

Just another lithium ion battery in thermal runaway. One day sooner than later, this is going to happen in the bottom of a high rise building in the U.S. and it’s going to take down a building in a 9/11 style which will be so sad, so predictable, so preventable. These rolling chemical ticking time bombs need to be parked by themselves, away from any structure, including residential garages and public multilevel garages

The tree huggers never talk about the horrific toxic off gassing that comes from these fires.

I presently have 4000 shares and will buy/sell another 1000 weekly. Last week sold 1000 at 17.60, just bought back 1000 at 16.60 about 10 minutes ago. Will sell that 1000 this week at 17.70 or higher.

Im thinking they may be bought out by VW sometime in the future, listening closely to see what that price may be. VW is at 12 right now.

RIVN will be profitable sooner than later and believe will be bought out by Amazon or VW group. Selling their software to other car companies adds a lot of value. Under the radar gem that kills cancer with cryoblast is ICCM

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rivian Automotive, Inc. (NASDAQ: RIVN) today announced production and delivery totals for the quarter ending June 30, 2024. The company produced 9,612 vehicles at its manufacturing facility in Normal, Illinois and delivered 13,790 vehicles during the same period.

Production and delivery results during the second quarter of 2024 were in line with Rivian’s expectations. For the full year 2024, management is reaffirming guidance for annual production of 57,000 total vehicles.

The company also announced that on August 6th, after market close, it will release its second quarter 2024 financial results.

Rivian will host an audio webcast at 5:00 p.m. ET the same day to discuss the performance and outlook for the business. i will look into their design, solid lithium polymer batts in the past have had memory issues that even software didnt seem to fix. It looks like these guys must have bought some or all patents and technologies from Berg. LP was the future back then, but it was before its time. Battery is everything, motors have been almost 100% efficient with electronic timing of the field peaks for years.
