(EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international design, consulting,
engineering and management services company, announced today that
Theo Dilissen has been appointed CEO of the Belgian activities of
ARCADIS. Mr Dilissen succeeds Marc van Put, who will pursue his
career at ARCADIS in Belgium as
Commercial Director. The changes come into effect as of
June 1, 2010.
Mr Dilissen is a sociology graduate of Antwerp University and has gained an MBA from
the Flanders Business School. After occupying various sales and
marketing roles in the pharmaceutical sector, he worked in a number
of management positions for ISS - a fast-growing, international,
listed company - of which his final position was as Chief Operating
Officer. In the period 2000-2004, he was CEO and Managing Director
of Real Software, which is one of the leading software companies in
Belgium. Subsequently, he was CEO
and Chairman of Aviapartner (airport handling business) between
2005 and 2009. Currently, he is a non-Executive Director of the
Supervisory Board of Belgacom, the largest telecommunications
company in Belgium.
