MANDEVILLE, La., April 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Seeker Tec
International (OTC Pink: SNTL), the aerial surveillance company,
has recruited a senior executive to its management team.
Issa Sawabini, a US national, now
residing in the UK has joined the group as Director for the
Middle East and North Africa.
Mr. Sawabini has over thirty years of outstanding executive and
cross cultural experience in twelve countries, and is fluent in
Arabic, English and French, having held senior management positions
in international companies in the UK, United States, Lebanon, Kuwait and China.
A Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Marketing,
Sawabini will initially operate from the Seeker Tec UK office and
target markets in Middle Eastern and Arabic speaking countries that
are affected by land mines and have further aerial survey
opportunities, particularly in the oil and gas sectors.
As part of his role, Mr. Sawabini, will develop strategic
partnerships across the region with companies committed to the
development of technology driven projects. Commenting on his
appointment Sawabini said, "This is a very exciting opportunity.
Seeker Tec has assembled an impressive array of sensors that can be
carried on light aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)
platforms, and whilst the detection of subsurface objects is
enormously important from a humanitarian perspective, other sensors
offer an entry into market sectors that are ripe for commercial
exploitation."
Executive Chairman, Mike
Kendrick, commented, "The Middle
East and North Africa are
hugely important to us as a company, and the region is still
suffering from unexploded ordnance dating back to the Second World
War.
"Mr. Sawabini's appointment is a major step forward in our
strategic presence in an area where we can make a real difference
in global terms", he concluded.
