Just to add one other thing, youre looking at the problem incorrectly. The issue with autonomous tech running redlights, is its likely going to do so with people who are less likely to run redlights in the first place. Thus it'll increase the amount of vehicles running redlights rather than decreasing them. That coupled with the fact that it'll put better drivers and citizens that are more important to the function of society in harms way. Those are the citizens that are more likely to use the service. Think of how many doctors Teslas have killed because their tendency to go out of control.

Section 2 - The computer errors from outer space
(Elon Musk: Model S not a car but a ‘sophisticated computer on wheels’)

When computers go wrong, we tend to assume it's just some software hiccup, a bit of bad programming. But ionising radiation, including rays of protons blasted towards us by the sun, can also be the cause. These incidents, called single-event upsets, are rare and it can be impossible to be sure that cosmic rays were involved in a specific malfunction because they leave no trace behind them.

And yet they have been singled out as the possible culprits behind numerous extraordinary cases of computer failure. From a vote-counting machine that added thousands of non-existent votes to a candidate's tally, to a commercial airliner that suddenly dropped hundreds of feet mid-flight, injuring dozens of passengers
Plus, since giant ejections from the sun can sometimes send huge waves of particles towards Earth, what's called space weather, an unnerving prospect looms: we could see much more disruption to computers than we're used to during a massive geomagnetic storm in the future

Section 3 - Superseding and/or Intervening Force

Tesla argues it had no control in the crash and death which were "caused by a superseding and/or intervening force."
There you have it folks Tesla admits an outside force caused this Tesla to glitch and go out of control. That is true, its not Teslas fault, per se, that its vehicles go out of control. Its the destabilized electromagnetic environment we are experiencing as a result of the earths continued weakening of its magnetic field. While I do not disagree that this is an outside force causing its vehicles to go out of control, its precisely why computers on wheels (Teslas/EVs/computerized ICE) should not be on the roads. Because these vehicles will continue to go out of control and with more frequency putting the greater public in danger. EVs will continue to destroy lives whether through killing those involved, created long-term psychological damage, or leading to the incarceration of people who did nothing wrong other than drive an EV.
Also as Tesla is aware of the problem and does not warn the public its liable for everyone of its vehicles going out of control!

The exact cause of the Hutchison Effect is unknown in public spheres as it is classified under national security. However the most likely culprit seems to be a combination of electromagnetic sources coming together in a way to change the makeup of metals leading to their rusting, softening, fracturing, complete breaking, even dustification. Theres not enough of them to know if they'll run fewer red lights. The more on the road the greater the probability they'll go out of control. Besides running red lights is not the worst thing they do.

Just trying to learn more on what makes Elon Musk tick as a human.

Elon Musk who certainly stands above the average intelligence level seen in most humans was born with the Asperger's syndrome.

Asperger’s syndrome (also known as just Asperger’s) is a developmental disorder. It is one form of the autism spectrum disorder diagnosis (ASD). It causes impaired language and communication skills as well as repetitive or restrictive thinking and behavior.

People diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome typically have high intelligence and no speech delays. However, they tend to play, learn, speak, and act differently from others.

In a 2015 interview with Rolling Stone, Musk stated that he has "a mild form of Asperger's." Whether or not Elon Musk has autism or Asperger's, it is clear that he is a highly intelligent and driven individual who has accomplished a great deal in his career. Some people with autism or Asperger's have been able to use their unique perspectives and abilities to excel in fields such as science, technology, and engineering.

It is also important to note that having autism or Asperger's does not define a person's entire personality or behavior. Everyone is unique, and people with autism or Asperger's can have a wide range of interests, skills, and personalities.

Humans and Human Intelligence (HI) are superior and are not replaceable by Computers and Artificial Intelligence (AI)... not going to beat human intelligence.

However they can help humans in so many ways. Elon Musk is still a pioneering visionary and leader in EV domain at this time. It is me that lost interest on his recent public behavior and political choices and viewpoint.

Self Driving vehicles also run red lights. Not just a people problem. Teslas do it with FSD while a driver is in the driver seat. There are so few autonomous vehicles, it'll only get worse the more that hit the streets.

Being a passenger in a self driving robo-taxi is very risky. Especially in cities! Too many folks speeding and ignoring red lights at intersections. Controlling your own steering of your vehicle and good driver awareness is a big deal, in both EV and gas engines.

Tesla (TSLA) Peter Lynch Fair Value : $58.50 (As of Oct. 13, 2024)

What is Tesla Peter Lynch Fair Value?

Peter Lynch Fair Value applies to growing companies. The ideal range for the growth rate is between 10 - 20% a year. Peter Lynch thinks that the fair P/E value for a growth company equals its growth rate, that is PEG = 1. The earnings here is trailing twelve month (TTM) earnings. For non-bank companies, the growth rate we use is the average growth rate for EBITDA per share over the past 5 years. For Banks, the growth rate we use is the average growth rate for Book Value per share over the past 5 years. If 5-Year Growth Rate is greater than 25% a year, we use 25. If 5-Year Growth Rate is smaller than 5% a year, we do not calculate Peter Lynch Fair Value.

Here, as of today, Tesla's PEG is 1. Tesla's 5-Year TTM EBITDA Growth Rate is 25. Tesla's EPS without NRI for the trailing twelve months (TTM) ended in Jun. 2024 was $2.34. Therefore, the Peter Lynch Fair Value for today is $58.50.

As of today (2024-10-13), Tesla's share price is $217.80. Tesla's Peter Lynch fair value is $58.50. Therefore, Tesla's Price to Peter Lynch Fair Value Ratio for today is 3.72.

1. The "Tesla Glitch" Theory: The idea that Ms. Chao's accident was caused by a Tesla glitch is a speculative claim without any concrete evidence. While accidents can happen, attributing them solely to a mysterious "glitch" without considering other factors is simply inaccurate.

2. The "Lurch Forward" Behavior: The lurching forward and reversing behavior described in the post is not uncommon in accidents. It could be a result of driver error, mechanical issues, or external factors such as road conditions or obstacles.

3. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI): The suggestion that EMI caused the accident is a favorite scapegoat among conspiracy theorists. While EMI can indeed affect electronic systems, the idea that it's causing cars to veer or reverse is highly speculative and lacks credible evidence.

4. Tesla's Involvement: Tesla's statement that an outside force caused the accident is likely a legal strategy to protect itself from liability. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that a Tesla glitch was responsible.

5. The "EV Danger" Claim: The claim that EVs, especially Teslas, are a danger to the public is unfounded. EVs are generally safer than traditional gasoline-powered cars and have a lower risk of accidents due to their advanced safety features.

6. The "5 Complaints" Argument: The fact that five complaints have been filed with the DoT about Tesla's gear shifting doesn't prove that the vehicles are unsafe. Complaints are often filed for various reasons, and it's important to consider the context and investigate each case individually.

In conclusion, the "Tesla glitch" conspiracy theory is a baseless claim that has been perpetuated by misinformation and fear. It's important to approach such claims with critical thinking and avoid jumping to conclusions based on sensationalized news reports.

I am on build 3, but have to say that the latest FSD is astonishingly good. Yes, it still makes some calls I would not, but makes it work anyway. I wonder if some of what people dislike about it is just that it does not drive the way I would drive? Could I take my eyes off of the road longer....yes. Could I ignore it......yes, but I am NOT to that point yet.
At some point though, it will still screw up or cut someone else off who is not aware the car is in charge. There is still no accounting for the knotheads around here who change lanes without signals, run light and stop signs and ingenious ways road construction can totally screw up a alternate path even I can't figure out. Wild speeding it totally out of bounds at times. I can't believe how much junk is dropped on the freeways and roads from unsecured loads as well. Blinding sun can also be daunting at times here.
I have to say, we are closer to it being truly FSD than not. I live in Texas so I would seem to be one of the lucky ones who will get to try it out first. (What does that mean when I leave the state for a road trip?) I will let everyone know if I get a chance to try.....😃

Theres video evidence suggesting that Ms Chao's Tesla glitched and drove her into the pond despite her intoxicated state.

The report said Chao left the lodge at 11:37 p.m. and, wrapped in a blanket, got in her Tesla. She apparently intended to drive to another house in the compound. Surveillance video shows the car lurching forward, then reversing over a limestone block wall at the edge of the pond.
Right there, the Tesla lurched forward suggesting that she had in fact put it into drive and then suddenly it reversed; this is not unlike the behavior of another Tesla accident ive posted that suddenly surged forward before reversing itself (included in second part of this post). That incident was also caught on camera but shared with the public. Incidentally the media blamed Electromagnetic interference as possible cause.
Its likely the lurch forward behavior before the accelerated reversing, combined with possible distance she reversed, likely prompted investigators to consider the accident to be strange from the onset. The "sudden" revelation that she was intoxicated would have been known by investigators within the first 24 hours but only recently confirmed by blood work. Used more to mislead the public from considering the Tesla was responsible for Chaos death.
It was recently revealed that Tesla is aware that outside forces can cause its vehicles to behave this way and Tesla believe its not responsible. It is responsible as long as it doesnt disclose to the public its vehicles can go out of control when exposed to EM radiation; usually during or days after a geomagnetic storm/unrest conditions.

Tesla argues it had no control in the crash and death which were "caused by a superseding and/or intervening force."
There you have it folks Tesla admits an outside force caused this Tesla to glitch and go out of control.

At least 12 complaints filed with the Department of Transportation and first reported by Business Insider are related to how Tesla vehicles are put into reverse. Seven users have reported confusion with the gearshift design, resulting in them sometimes putting the car into drive when they intended to shift to reverse, or vice versa. Five other complaints were from people who said their Teslas appeared to switch between drive and reverse without warning, according to Business Insider.
5 complaints have been filed with the DoT claiming their Teslas shifted themselves from drive to reverse without warning. I dont know if the following accident is one of those five, but below is video evidence of a Tesla lurching forward into a car as the driver attempted to park. Then the Tesla suddenly reverses itself and drives itself backwards until it hits a neighbor garage. This would be like Ms Chaos Tesla reversing into the Pond. Media indicated that EMI may have caused the accident as i have indicated may have also impacted Ms Chao's Tesla! EVs and especially Teslas are a danger to the public.

Heres another example of it being claimed in the media that electromagnetic interference is causing Teslas to drive on their own without driver input. Case study of where this has been observed in other EVs posted below. Video of the Tesla driving itself is here:

Video Footage:

https://youtu.be/AuViTuuYgpg

For an expert opinion, KXAN took the case to Dragan Djurdjanovic. A professor in mechanical engineering, Djurdjanovic looked into similar allegations against Tesla around 2008. The expert said it's very possible that electromagnetic interference between wires caused the accident.
Its EMI but not from inside the car. Instead its coming from outside the car which is why Teslas only go out of control like this during geomagnetic unrest. Also in 2008 it was Toyotas that were having problems with SUA.

1. The "Veer Issue": The idea that Tesla vehicles are spontaneously veering off the road is a common misconception fueled by sensationalized news reports and a lack of understanding about modern automotive technology. Accidents happen, and Teslas are no exception. However, attributing these incidents solely to a mysterious "veer issue" without considering other factors is simply inaccurate.

2. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI): This is a favorite scapegoat among conspiracy theorists. While EMI can indeed affect electronic systems, the idea that it's causing Teslas to veer is highly speculative and lacks credible evidence. Modern cars have robust shielding and software to mitigate the effects of EMI.

3. Autopilot and GPS Issues: The suggestion that Autopilot or GPS glitches are causing these incidents is equally unfounded. Autopilot is a complex system that relies on a multitude of sensors and data sources. While there have been instances of Autopilot malfunctions, these are rare and often due to specific circumstances, not widespread systemic issues.

4. The "Mysterious" Accidents: The incidents cited in the post are all examples of accidents, not evidence of a deliberate "veer issue." Accidents can happen for various reasons, including driver error, mechanical failures, or external factors. Blaming them all on a mysterious Tesla conspiracy is simply illogical.

5. The "Straight Road" Argument: The fact that a road is straight doesn't mean accidents can't happen on it. There are countless factors that can cause a driver to lose control, such as sudden swerving, overcorrection, or even a medical emergency.

In conclusion, the "Tesla veer issue" conspiracy is a baseless claim that has been perpetuated by misinformation and fear. It's important to approach such claims with critical thinking and avoid jumping to conclusions based on sensationalized news reports.

To reinforce Tesla's veer issue, that seems to impact vehicles with/without AP enabled & every model and year, here are a few incidents that showcase Teslas behave just like the Tesla on Wednesday in San Fran. I suspect that Tesla's emergency lane departure system combined with a possible GPS issue, as described in this first case study from 2019, cause this problem due to a glitch brought on by Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).

Here is the best description of this sudden veering ive seen to date:
A Tesla driver claims the autopilot feature on his car took over seconds before he veered off a New Jersey road, and he blamed the vehicle’s technology for the crash.
The Tesla Model X veered to the right suddenly, and the steering wheel locked into place as a message appeared that a new lane was detected, Carter told police.

Police said the car went off-road, hit a curb, struck traffic signs and then drove over another curb before it stopped in a grassy area.
========================================

There was this incident back in May where again the driver claims to lost ability to steer and its momentum was only stopped, like this Compass, upon striking a small tree and shrub. Otherwise they would have gone into Moorings Bay.

The Naples Police Department confirmed to NBC2 that the driver reported losing the ability to steer, which caused the vehicle to go off the road prior to being able to stop. Additionally, there are no pending charges for the driver.
“They hit the mailbox, and then they came across the curb, hit the fire hydrant, set it off, and then hit a bunch of their landscape,” she said. “They hit the fire hydrant, so it was going off like crazy. We would’ve had to dive in and try to rescue them from their vehicle, but it was literally just a small little tree and shrub that kept them from going into the canal.”
========================================

Most recently there was this accident where it appears the speed up and veering occurred:

Dr. Alfred Valles, 50, and Selina Valles, 46, were killed at 9:30 p.m. Friday when they were traveling north on Friant Road and crashed into a tree in the middle divider of Friant near Rice Road, north of Champlain Drive.

Police confirmed Monday the vehicle involved was a Tesla. At the scene Friday night, police said the Valles were traveling at a high rate of speed and that a small fire was sparked near the site; it was extinguished quickly by the fire department.

As you can see the road is perfectly straight here making one wonder why they suddenly veered into the median.

========================================

I could go on and on about Teslas suddenly veering, but i'll finish with this one where an off duty county sheriff experienced this same problem resulting in the death of the driver of the F250.

For an unknown reason," according to police, the Tesla veered across the center lane and into the right lane, where it collided with the Ford pickup.

As a result of the collision, Vallier lost control of the Ford F250 and crossed the center lane into the left lane and, then, onto the grassy median, where it began to roll over, police said.

Tesla driver says steering glitch made him smash into corner store

A Tesla owner says the steering wheel locked up while he was driving Wednesday morning, forcing him to smash into the front of a Noe Valley corner store.
“It just surged on its own. It’s just a horrible nightmarish thing to happen, but I’m going to count my blessings that nobody was injured. The car seized up, and the steering wheel locked. When it happens to you, it’s a nightmare.”

LaPointe said he doesn’t use robotaxis like Waymo and is wary of automation on four wheels: “I don’t use the full self-driving, especially in the city. I don’t trust it enough.”
So this Tesla suffered sudden unintended acceleration and steering locked up leading to the accident. I recall something like this occurring back in 2019 and last year when some young ladies were in a Tesla and it suddenly veered them off the road down into a marsh i believe it was. The steering locked up just like this one and if it wasnt for a small tree impeding their progress, apparently, they would have gone into the water like Ms Chao's Tesla.
This is why im bearish Tesla the company regardless of which direction the stock goes. Computers on wheels are very dangerous because they glitch due to EM radiation.

Section 8 - Hutchison Effect & Teslas Whompy Wheel issue

Jain is one of tens of thousands of Tesla owners who have experienced premature failures of suspension or steering parts, according to a Reuters review of thousands of Tesla documents. The chronic failures, many in relatively new vehicles, date back at least seven years and stretch across Tesla’s model lineup and across the globe, from China to the United States to Europe, according to the records and interviews with more than 20 customers and nine former Tesla managers or service technicians.

https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/tesla-musk-steering-suspension/

Keep in mind the degree of metal materials that are within our buildings and infrastructure...even in concrete. Maybe this is why we are seeing an increase in building and bridge collapses?

Accordingly, I sold all of my Tesla shares in my Port. His recent public behavior had become intolerable.

Helene and Milton reveal an emerging challenge for first responders: EV batteries catching fire

Anything that’s lithium-ion and exposed to salt water can have an issue,” said Bill Morelli, the fire chief in Seminole, Florida, and the bigger the battery, the greater the threat. That’s what makes EVs especially hazardous. “[The problem] has expanded as they continue to be more and more popular.”

It is not yet clear how many vehicles might have caught fire in the wake of Hurricane Milton, which slammed into Siesta Key on Wednesday, leaving at least 16 people dead and some 80,000 in shelters. But there have been 48 confirmed battery fires related to storm surge from Hurricane Helene, 11 of them associated with EVs.
Thats just from Helene in Florida. We dont know the full count including from Milton.

The Relationship between Cosmic Rays and Hurricanes
James A. Marusek
This paper explores a causal relationship between Galactic Cosmic Ray
(GCR) induced ionization and the cloud structure that supports hurricane development.
Several observed phenomena can be explained by a relationship between cosmic rays and
hurricanes. These are (1) the need for an atmospheric low pressure system, (2) the
requirement of strong updraft, (3) and the need for high sustained winds along the
ocean’s surface for hurricane development; and (4) the disintegration of a hurricane
system as it comes onshore and travels over land. An atmospheric low pressure system
allows greater penetration of GCRs at the ocean’s surface. A strong updraft pulls ocean
salt water aerosols high into the atmosphere where they are exposed to very high levels of
ionization. High sustained winds at the ocean’s surface controls production of ocean salt
water aerosols. As hurricanes travel over land, they are starved of marine aerosols which
in turn constrain hurricane cloud development & lifetime. This paper presents the
hypothesis that ocean salt water aerosols and GCR ionization are primary components of
the hurricane formation and intensification process. Surface wind speed drives the
production rate of marine aerosols and GCR induced ionization drives the nucleation of
marine aerosols and cloud growth.

It had the motive and the means. Also without leaving said treaty, SpaceX could not exist. This is why it officially began the same month the US officially left the treaty June, 2002.

Hurricane Hijinks: A Cosmic Comedy

Alright, folks, let's dive headfirst into the realm of hurricane conspiracies, where cosmic rays play the role of super villains and the US government is a secret weather-controlling agency.

First up, we have the cosmic ray theory. Apparently, these tiny particles from space are like steroid injections for hurricanes, making them stronger and meaner. Now, I'm no physicist, but I'm pretty sure hurricanes are more influenced by ocean temperatures and wind patterns than space dust. It's like saying your mood is determined by the number of cosmic rays hitting your head that day.

Then there's the US government's secret hurricane-steering technology. Apparently, they've got a giant weather wand hidden somewhere in the Everglades, waving it around to control the path of storms. This is like claiming your dog can predict the weather by the way it scratches its ears.

Now, about Miami. The fact that it hasn't been hit by a hurricane in a while is probably just a fluke of nature, not a government conspiracy. Maybe Miami has a secret pact with the gods of the sea, or maybe it's just really lucky. And as for the wealthy people living there, they're probably just enjoying their beachfront mansions and not secretly controlling the weather.

So, there you have it, folks. The hilarious, nonsensical world of hurricane control conspiracies. Remember, when it comes to hurricanes, the best defense is preparation, not wild theories. And if you see someone waving a giant weather wand, maybe offer them a cup of tea and a calming nature documentary.

Tesla Takes on the Triforce of Trouble: A Comedy Chronicle

Okay, folks, buckle up for a wild ride as we navigate the treacherous world of Tesla conspiracies! Today's menu features a steering wheel possessed by demons, cosmic rays with bad aim, and the return of the dreaded...Hutchison Effect?

First, we have Mr. LaPointe's tale of the possessed steering wheel. Now, car problems are no laughing matter, but a complete lockup sounds a bit dramatic. Maybe it was just a case of over-enthusiastic lane assist? Or perhaps Mr. LaPointe accidentally set the car to "self-park in the nearest corner store"?

Next, we delve into the realm of cosmic rays zapping Teslas out of control. Picture this: a tiny sunbeam shoots down, fries a single circuit, and suddenly your car is a rogue robot. It's more likely you'll get struck by lightning while reading this, folks.

Then comes the "superseding force" argument. Apparently, Tesla's suggesting it's all Mother Nature's fault, with her weakened magnetic field causing gremlins in the machines. Now, the Earth's magnetic field is a fascinating thing, but it's more likely to mess with your compass than your car's computer.

The "crash rate" study? Let's be honest, shiny new tech attracts a certain type of driver – the "look-at-me-I'm-in-a-self-driving-car" kind. Maybe the high crash rate has more to do with overconfidence than faulty wiring.

The "unintended acceleration" story sounds like a scene straight out of a B-movie. More likely, a misplaced foot on the pedal than a rogue AI takeover.

And finally, the "Hutchison Effect" – a classified mystery causing Teslas to fall apart. Folks, if there was a secret force making metal crumble, wouldn't we have bigger problems than wobbly wheels?

Look, Tesla's not perfect. Every car has its issues. But let's stick to real problems, not sci-fi scenarios. The future of electric cars is bright, and fear-mongering won't dim it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a date with a Tesla... and a healthy dose of skepticism.

Tesla driver says steering glitch made him smash into corner store

A Tesla owner says the steering wheel locked up while he was driving Wednesday morning, forcing him to smash into the front of a Noe Valley corner store.

Raymond LaPointe told The Standard he was alone in his Model Y, which he has owned for three years, and was driving it manually when his steering wheel suddenly seized up. The collision with Noe Hill Market left him with scrapes but no other injuries.

“I don’t drive it that much. I’ve heard of other people having some issues, but I never experienced it. But now that it happened to me, I’m rattled — very rattled,” LaPointe said. “I bought the Tesla before I knew Elon Musk was an asshole. Now I don’t like the car.”

Tesla Stock Fizzles After Robotaxi Reveal Disappoints
By: Schaeffer's Investment Research | October 11, 2024

• Tesla stock is heading for its worst single-session decline since July

• TSLA options traders are out in full force today in response to the bear gap

Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) stock is down 8.3% today to trade at $218.12, after the electric vehicle (EV) company's vaunted robotaxi reveal fell flat with investors and analysts. Embattled CEO Elon Musk revealed Tesla's Cybercab, a self-driving concept car, with production hopes by 2027 but no other manufacturing details explained. Analysts expressed disappointment about the lack of near-term opportunities and underwhelming artificial intelligence (AI) updates.

TSLA is on track for its worst single-session decline since July 24. The shares are testing their 100-day moving average today, a trendline that hasn't been breached on a closing basis since June. The stock is down 11% in 2024.

Call traders remain in control. At the International Securities Exchange (ISE), Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), and NASDAQ OMX PHLX (PHLX), the equity's 50-day call/put volume ratio of 1.55 ranks five percentage points from an annual high.

Options traders are out in droves today, with 770,000 calls and 568,000 puts exchanged so far, total volume that's 4 times the average intraday amount. The weekly 10/11 220-strike call is the most popular today, while the 215- and 210-strike puts in the same series are also seeing notable activity.
