I am completely back on Nexo and it is glorious woth the xrp earning. Even through in a 2 month promo treating me as an elite without even holding 10% in Nexo. Going to work on building that ladder approach in there again every 2 weeks lock a 6 month contract. I took all flare and converted to Nexo token and locked that up as well. Not sure if that was a smart move or not and don’t know if I will ever get to 10% Nexo holdings. Nexo is getting a little squirrelly with all these tier limit thresholds and you quickly fall out of Hier apy woth all these new thresholds. I think the work around is to lock a lot of smaller buckets into fixed contracts to stay below the thresholds and earn maximum apy

Oh, well, with all the Spark (aka Flare) distributed, does this mean more bullish tokenomics? Anyway, now I will stake all of it, even though only getting 3.4% now through Uphold. I guess I need to check out Nexo if they are offering staking on XRP. But I won't put all eggs in that basket. Lesson learned the hard way. Just think, MS, finally... after all these years. Think of all the crazy narratives that began in 2020 (snapshots, Cred bankruptcy, SEC lawsuit, Clayton, then Gensler..); they have all come to a resolution. Or, did I leave one out? Correct me if I am wrong. ; - ) Now we just need to find the bottom. May 23rd? Some time in October?

Nexo was a blessing. In April 2025 with Eric trump there, Nexo announced tbey plan to re-enter tbe US offering its full products and services again. Nexo also hosted some trump golf tournament over seas a few months back. However I haven't heard a peep about reentry since April.

I think you may have been the one who told me about nexo. I placed all my coin there and earned quite a bit until the sec chased them out of the country. I still have my account with them, but moved the coin when they got booted. Found this: Deep Dive 1. Zero-Interest Loans (9 January 2026) Overview: Nexo introduced “Zero-interest Credit,” allowing BTC/ETH holders to borrow without fees or interest. Loans are fixed-term, repayable in stablecoins or collateral at maturity, with no liquidation before the term ends. This targets users seeking liquidity without selling assets. What this means: Bullish for NEXO as it differentiates Nexo from competitors (e.g., Celsius’ legacy) and could attract institutional demand. However, adoption hinges on collateral stability amid crypto volatility. (Cointribune) 2. U.S. Market Re-entry (8 January 2026) Overview: Nexo expanded its U.S. presence with structured loans, previously limited to private clients, after settling a $45M SEC case in 2023. The platform facilitated $140M in loans in 2025. What this means: Neutral-to-bullish. Regulatory clarity aids trust, but competition from DeFi (Aave, Maker) and cautious user sentiment post-2022 CeFi collapses remain headwinds. (CoinMarketCap) 3. South America Expansion (11 December 2025) Overview: Nexo acquired Buenbit, an Argentine crypto platform, to tap into Latin America’s inflation-driven crypto adoption. The move includes launching localized lending/earning services. What this means: Bullish for long-term growth, as Nexo gains regulatory footholds in Argentina/Peru. Risks include navigating fragmented regional regulations. (Yahoo Finance) Conclusion Nexo is doubling down on credit innovation and geographic diversification, balancing aggressive product launches with post-2022 conservatism. While zero-interest loans could disrupt lending markets, regulatory execution and user trust remain critical. Will Nexo’s structured products resonate in a DeFi-dominated landscape?

Getting a serious tax education with at that Cred fiasco. I bought a little uphold through linqto and that was a mess and in bankruptcy so I am going through a simpalar process but outlook more hopeful. Talking about potential 0.95 on the dollar but we will see. I didn't know what to think about flare before last airdrop. Since price is so low already I don't see a massive sell off before last airdrop. Keep accumulating on that one if you have the funds because I do see that touching 0.05 again in future. Nexo announced they are coming back to US way back in April of 2025 and has been silence since. They were paying 5% apy on xrp which was legit and unheard of for central exchanged. Really hoping they hurry back soon

Trying to buy some more before final Flaredrops. But not chasing. Set a limit with Uphold that will catch if it dips 5%. Sadly, the interest paid for staking with Uphold has been on the downswing (most notably with stablecoins). But at the moment, FLR pays 3.75%, SGB 4.3%, and Solana 5.5% Regarding the Cred bankruptcy, MS, I should mention that we got the news on October 31 that we would get a distribution of 52.97 cents on the dollar. (Seems like with the upside in crypto since November 2020, it should have been more, but accountants and lawyers gotta eat, I guess.) They had some delays in sending the checks, so much so that I wasn't sure if I would have to do some more tax loss harvesting, but they came through late November. It was called an Initial Distribution, but I am not holding out much hope for a second distribution, even though a lot of claims were up in the air with another deadline to file objections last month and a court date scheduled for this month. I think that January date might have been cancelled, but they have continued to add things to the docket, another entry as recently as yesterday. As for how many years it takes to absorb the loss (thanks to antiquated Schedule D rules), that will depend on how well I do booking capital gains. The silver lining is that by the time my capital gains become taxable (net positive after the loss carryover dries up), I will be retired.

Not sure BUT the same individual who said to buy XRP @ .30-.40 said FLR is gonna 💥
I love how this is going up, anybody know what's making the price go up right now?
FLR is gonna hit Progressive JACKPOT
When I started this whole Cred Nexo plan xrp was 0.20 to 0.30 a coin. I always just kept reinvesting interest because not material. Now xrp is $2.20. Material interest will actually pay for some bills but will see. Certainly a $5 xrp will produce interest that is worth...

Nexo just announced they are coming back to US! I already saw the KYC opened up on app. The whole ladder lockup approach is going to back on for xrp! When Nexo left I sold my Nexo for flare because that had passive income possibilities. Now I will have to compare benefits because if I convert flare back to Nexo, I boost xrp earnings and can earn on Nexo. Down side is flare I believe has a lot of potential to grow in value per coin.

There is a massive list of claims against Cred.

I thought maybe you moved it all to Nexo. Mind you, the deadline for filing a claim was over 4 years ago. This new link on the Stretto site for the Cred bankruptcy asked me to confirm my info, and send them a W9. Maybe next month we will learn more. Sadly, these bankruptcies seem to be designed to keep accountants and lawyers employed and well-paid. They could have liquidated this thing 4 years ago and given everyone 40 cents on the dollar. I don't expect that much, although the crypto element fuels speculation as to what it might be. After all, Bitcoin did a 6x from November 2020 to the first month of 2025.

I know flare is and has been working of time to get xrp wrapped so that it can be staked to earn interest in flare. If you are just hodling xrp flr interest better than no interest. As long as we can pull our xrp out and stay whole. Will look into that link. Lot of people got burned and need compensation

I should mention Uphold resumed staking last month. FLR getting only 3.2%, but I will take it along with the monthly drops. Staked Songbird gets me 6.8% (same for Solana). So, how's it going, MS? FYI: Speaking of trying to get yield through our crypto holdings, there is a glimmer of hope of seeing some pennies on the dollar from the Cred bankruptcy. Stretto added a link to their website for submitting info. Deadline for people to respond is April 27, so not even thinking about holding my breath yet for a resolution. But... maybe this year.
