Here's something totally fascinating; the cost to lay one (1) mile of fiber optic cable costs on average $60k per mile. Depending upon the terrain. Guess what Lumens cost per mile of its 450k miles of fiber optic cables are? Simple enough, divide Lumens Market Cap ($4.7B) by 450,000.... drum roll... $10,444 per mile. That's incredible. Lumen is way, way undervalued. Still not satisfied I see... Well? Then let's throw $18B in debt on top of the $4.7B MC, $21.7B. Divide that by the miles of fiber optic cable. $21.7B/450k....$48,222 per mile. Still below average. 

This stock is obviously being manipulated by some type of Algorithm. Nobody in they're right mind would trade for pennies. I agree that LUMN is way oversold. Criminal rhythms with "Criminy"

Lumen beat on earnings street was expecting (-.05), Lumen came in at .09 cents. A real company with real earnings. They beat on revenues too.

Although DeepSeek caused a riffle in the AI space, e.g. lower power requirements for doing it's AI functions. I don't see this as being an impediment for the major buildout for the FAB Five, MSFT, AWS, META, Google, ORCL. These companies still require the fiber connection, power requirements and Data Centers. "Energy is neither created, nor destroyed." coined by Julius Robert Mayer, James Prescott Joule, and Hermann von Helmholtz. Computations require massive energy consumption along with cooling. Think of AI as the World's fastest SuperCar, then I think you get the picture. That's my 2 cents worth.

Lumens sell-off?? Only thing I can think of is the Deepseek issue has spooked the markets? Maybe Black Lotus Labs will come out with something. Markets taking a breather and waiting for the tariffs and Jay Powell speak. Waiting on Wednesday & Thursday, Tesla, Microsoft, Meta and others report earnings.

Dang, these traders are selling for nickels & dimes. Sure they're making money but Wow if they would only let Lumen run back up, we'd all be making money.

Ponder this for a moment; Lumen's Market Cap is $5.66B for over 450K miles of fiber optics? With a booming AI trend taking place before our eyes. Lumen is procuring 10% of Dow Corning's Fiber output. Lumen has $12B in contracts. We're at the tip of the iceberg. Earnings are coming in 3 weeks. GLTA

Probably a good time to accumulate shares before earnings....just sayin' Earnings should be okay, in-line? With so much blather surrounding AI & Quantum and how they work together, nothing going to happen without a Fiber network. As Carl Sagan used to say...."Billions and billions of stars, imagine the number of habitable planets are out there?" In Lumen's case it's $Billions and $Billions in their coffers.

LUMN lost money this year and is projected to lose over $600 million next year. They are already at negative book value. The company has negative valuation of over $6,000 million already. This one is teetering on bk.

I thought it would take a lot longer and more "work"...but everything in its time, I s'pose...all good...
I am still very involved with LUMN...I have about 30 different options positions...so
I will keep making "adjustments" as needed...
Maybe more "defense" than I need...who knows...
Lots of covered Calls...written Puts...long Calls/spreads...
Next year, I guess I will lock in some gains...and maybe even owe taxes on the 2025 year...??
