Vinci SA said Thursday that it has won a contract worth 200 million euros ($242.5 million) from National Grid PLC to build a 190,000 cubic meters liquefied-natural-gas tank in the U.K.

The French construction-and-infrastructure company said the project will contribute to expanding the capacity of the largest LNG terminal in Europe, which is located on the Isle of Grain. Works are set to last until June 2025.

The engineering, procurement and construction contract was awarded to Entrepose Contracting, Vinci Construction Grands Projets and Taylor Woodrow, all subsidiaries of Vinci Construction.
