De Vere Group Plc announces that it has been advised on 19th January, 2004 that
the Trustees of the De Vere Group Plc Employees Co-Investment Plan ("the Plan")
have on 15th January, 2004 acquired 2,691 shares on behalf of Roger Stubbs, a
director of De Vere Group Plc. These shares have been acquired by way of market
purchase at a price of 4.494859p.


The Trustees have purchased a total of 11,525 De Vere Group Plc shares by way of
market purchase at 4.494859p per share on the same date on behalf of Mr. Stubbs
and employees of De Vere Group Plc under the Plan. This includes the shares
allocated to the aforementioned director.
