                     Belhaven Group plc ("the Company")



Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock
Exchange for a total of 200,000 Ordinary shares of 10p each to be admitted to
the Official List and to trade on the London Stock Exchange by way of a block
listing. .




The shares which are the subject of the block listing are intended to be issued
in connection with the vesting of awards from the Company's 2001 Long Term
Incentive Plan and shall rank pari passu with the existing class of Ordinary
shares of 10p each currently in issue. The allotment of 51,663 Ordinary shares
which were allotted in connection with the Company's 2001 Long Term Incentive
Plan and which were the subject of an announcement on 21 July 2005, were subject
to their being admitted under the current block listing application.
