Issue of Equity

Eden  Research, a UK leading agrochemical and development company, announces that  it  has  issued
2,325,650 ordinary shares of 1p each pursuant to the exercise of warrants by long term lenders  of
the  Company.   The aggregate consideration of GBP 428,945 arising from the exercise  of  warrants
will be offset against their loans.

Tim Griffiths, CEO of Eden Research plc said:

"This  exercise  of  warrants  reduces Eden Research's creditor position  and  it  reinforces  the
lenders'  commitment to the Company.  The lenders have agreed to be locked in for a period  of  12
months from the date of issue."

Separately, the Company announces that it has issued 50,000 ordinary shares of 1p each pursuant to
the exercise of options on 8 July 2008.

Following these issues, Eden Research has 56,226,612 ordinary shares in issue.
