Well, I just got back into OCA today. It looks like it will have a good run finally...and there may still be a big (13 million share) short position that needs to cover. Then again, they may already be off this stock...and in that case, it may continue to go back up for quite some time. That's why I got back in...I think the pps recovery is due here.

I went to their main website and it seems they were very much affected by hurricane Katrina...still their stock charts look good to me now.

Another up day! With a strong close. I like it.

More bad news...2 more shareholder class action suits...and OCA still had good day! Yup, this is some tricky stuff...this stock and all that is swirling around it. But, I'm still in it...and I believe the up trend will continue. Though I'm quite sure the shorters and naked shorters...with their connections and power (money) will continue to do all they can to shake-out more shares.

IMO...there's a war going on here.

There's a tremendous amount of negative news out there now for OCA...and there is also a HUGE short position on this stock. 44% of the shares outstanding or 20.38 million shares was short OCA as of the middle of May, 2005 according to Yahoo Finance. Now, OCA is also on the NYSE reg SHO naked short threshold list (for the past 2 days). This means the short position of OCA is most likely another 250,000 shares plus. Do your DD and be prepared for more negative news. IMO...the shorters will be covering (they may be doing it now) under the cover of this negative news sh*t storm. IMO also, these shorters will do what ever they need or can do to cover their positions at as low a share price as possible. We've got lawsuits galore. Bashers are also not averse to saying a co. will go bankrupt. I think all of this neg. stuff will pass and/or be settled. By that time, I expect the pps of of OCA to be quite a bit higher than it is now. At some point, all these short shares (three years worth it seems) will begin to cover. Then, this stock's pps should improve a lot.
