TRA Teras Resources Inc

Teras Resources Inc. ("Teras") (TSX VENTURE:TRA) is pleased to announce that its
annual general and special meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") will be held
on July 8, 2009, at the offices of Davis LLP, 10th Floor Livingston Place, 250 -
2nd Street SW, Calgary, Alberta, at 9:30 a.m. The record date for the Meeting is
June 8, 2009.


The Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta has granted Teras an Order which extends
the period under the Business Corporation's Act (Alberta) during which Teras may
hold its next annual general meeting of shareholders to August 9, 2009. However,
Teras is currently late under section 3.1 of TSX Venture Exchange (the
"Exchange") Policy 3.2, by failing to hold an annual general meeting of
shareholders within 15 months of its last AGM held on January 25, 2008. Upon
holding the Meeting on July 8, 2009, Teras will be in compliance with section
3.1 of Exchange Policy 3.2. This disclosure is being provided at the request of
the Exchange.

programs with the goal of proving resources with an NI 43-101 compliant resource
