PARIS, March 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Accor (OTC:ACRFF) announces the divestment of its 1.42% stake in Compass Group PLC. This stake of 30,706,882 shares was sold on March 7, 2006 for a total amount of approximately EUR 96 million. Accor no longer holds shares in Compass. This divestment is in line with Accor's non core divestment strategy.
