Business Wire
In a continuing commitment to be fully informative, Consolidated
Biofuels, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CSBF), an alternative fuels company,
announced today through its CEO and President, Daniel Honeycutt,
that the Company, as a component of its strategic planning process
and after months of research and appropriate due diligence, has
executed and finalized a five-year development, marketing and
distribution agreement with Pure Ag Products. This initiative is a
foresighted response to an obviously burgeoning domestic feedstock
shortage. Within the agreement, Consolidated will have the
exclusive right to market and distribute Pure Ags current line of
patented soil enhancement and soil remediation products and
application processes. Overall, we intend to work together to
develop enhanced products and processes specifically designed and
formulated to improve soy and other biomass fuel-related (ethanol)
crop production in the agricultural communities located in a
ten-state region located within the Mississippi Valley Corridor,
the area generally acknowledged by the farming and biodiesel
industries as the Soybean Belt of America. According to Mr. Pete
Moss, V.P., Frazier Barnes & Associates (FBA Consulting), in a
recent issue of Biodiesel Magazine, The most important factor, and
one that is seen as the greatest threat to large-scale biodiesel
production, is the possibility of feedstock shortages. We agree.
Mr. Honeycutt further stated, At the end of the day, we not only
need to be a full value-added participant in the energy sector, we
will also necessarily need to be an intrinsic and engaged
participant in, and supporter of, the agricultural industry.
Because we are commodity-driven, shortages are troubling. More is
better. Increased production and increased quality of soy-based
feedstock through soil enhancement absolutely benefits
Consolidateds strategic initiatives in very direct and meaningful
ways, including ancillary revenue streams and very immediate access
to captured local feedstock supplies and suppliers. Mr. Gregory
Karl, Managing Member, Pure Ag Products, stated, We know, based on
Consolidateds obvious dedication to the use of cutting edge
technologies to improve our world, and Pure Ag Products experience
with successfully developing products which are true marvels of
biotechnology, that we will make a great combination. About Pure
