Focus Financial Partners Inc., a leading partnership of fiduciary wealth management and related financial services firms, today announced that Travis Danysh, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Development, has been promoted to serve as the firm’s Chief Corporate Development Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Danysh will continue to be based in Austin, Texas, and will report directly to Michael Nathanson, Focus’ Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Danysh will lead all corporate development activities at Focus, including M&A, capital deployment, and economic structuring solutions, in addition to leading all business development initiatives firm-wide. He will also continue to steer the direction of Focus’ consolidation strategy, having successfully strengthened the processes and discipline around capital deployment decisions, including those related to the firm’s investment-committee process.

“Travis is a strong, experienced leader who is highly regarded at Focus and across the wealth management industry for the significant contributions he’s made to our company - and our industry - over the last decade,” said Mr. Nathanson. “In the past year alone, he has worked tirelessly to execute Focus’ consolidation strategy, and he has been instrumental to its success. His extensive industry experience and keen ability to lead complex transactions will only further our ability to execute successfully against our strategic objectives.”

“I’m grateful for this expanded opportunity with Focus and for the privilege to work with Michael and alongside the rest of the leadership team as I embrace this new chapter of growth for our business,” said Mr. Danysh. “I have an incredibly talented team supporting me, and we are fortunate to be the beneficiary of a number of industry and company-specific tailwinds as we implement our enhanced strategy.”
