Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP) Opciones

Holding 2 Dec 175 calls here! No brainer!

Bought 5 Sept 172 calls at 2.50 here today!

RSP is a remarkably sensible holding by your standard. Recently I bought the slightly similar IJH, an iShares md-cap index fund and plan to add more gradually.

My portfolio is doing well with large caps and index funds, but I worry about the dominance of a very few tech stocks such as Apple, MSFT, Amazon. Heck, even my BRK is loaded with Apple! So I'm considering adding equal-weighted RSP.

My kids have held QQQ for more than a decade, almost a ten-bagger. But it offers little diversification. Again.. tons and tons of Apple. The Nasdaq 100, despite its name and roaring success, offers little diversification.

Just 2% of my portfolio in RSP. Forces me to diversify into stocks that I may not decide to buy individually. lol

The chart below shows the Equal-Weight S&P 500 ETF (RSP) with 10-day RSI. I chose 10 days because 14-day RSI rarely exceeds 30/70 and 5-day RSI exceeds 30/70 too often. It is a fielders choice! First and foremost, notice the progression of higher highs from April to September. RSP also recorded fresh 52-week highs in August and September





The indicator window shows RSI dipping well below 30 in early February with strong selling pressure. There was another dip below 30 in March, but this was not as deep. The dips since March have not exceeded 30 and RSI has not been below 40 since late June. This reflects limited selling pressure. Throw in four moves above 70 since June and you have a strong uptrend
