It would certainly drive NVDA higher, along with most quantum stocks!

I can't wait for his keynote speech, I'm going out on a limb and predict Jensen announces a Quantum chip, system etc. with earth shattering technology. The first GTC with Quantum representation no better time. It could propel the stock Quantum being the new buzzword.

Huang is scheduled to give a keynote address at the company's semiannual GTC conference in San Jose, Calif. He plans to discuss what's next in agentic AI, robotics, accelerated computing and more, the company said.

Analysts expect Nvidia to unveil its GB300 AI chip at the show. That chip could start shipping in May. Huang also is likely to preview the company's next-generation graphics processing unit, or GPU, called Rubin. Rubin is due out in 2026 and will follow the current Blackwell series processors.

Nvidia is touting GTC as "the world's premier AI conference." GTC is short for GPU Technology Conference. It will run March 17-21 and feature over 1,000 sessions, 2,000 speakers and nearly 400 exhibitors, mostly focused on artificial intelligence. Nvidia expects 25,000 in-person attendees at the show, with 300,000 attending virtually.

Nvidia's GTC is "typically more a catalyst for the supply chain than Nvidia's stock," TD Cowen analyst Joshua Buchalter said in a client note Thursday. He rates Nvidia stock as buy with a price target of 175.

Meanwhile, Mizuho Securities analyst Vijay Rakesh on Thursday lowered his price target on Nvidia stock to 168 from 175 but kept his outperform rating. He cited "multiple compression in the AI space overall due to fears of slowing growth" as the reason for his price-target cut.

Looks like yes, many analysts are lowering NVDA price targets. But even their lowered targets are MANY dollars above NVDA's current levels.

About 2pm fear will set in about the government shutdown, and will pull the markets down further, and NVDA with it.

To NVDA credit, it is up today so far, while the markets in general are down.

Start $NVD short at $30.40s as NVDA tops out at $117s. Looks like government shutdown will take over as topic and could be a good tool for market capitulation approaching SPY 525 

It reminds me of the old joke, “how can you tell when a lawyer is lying?“. “ his lips are moving“

Unless of course the current uncertainty and unpredictability sours the whole market, Nvidia is looking good.

And there it is. Looks like the CR will not pass, and I'm sure NVDA will follow the general market direction downward.

NVDA $116 see $117.30 on long side but with Government shutdown looming short or long is tough call still. PPI improves so slightly slanted to long side for now until market gears more towards government shutdown side 

NVDA $115 NVD $31.24 SPY $557 . After weak market rallies still looking for market capitulating at SPY 525 and NVDA at $96. Slowly working our way down just patience 

NVDA $115 start a new short NVD $31.41 but wait for 830 am report SMX 237 to watch and SPY 574 lower high. No capitulation bottom has happened yet. Market still bearish as rallies have been weak

And yes, we all can see how NVDA swings up and down with the market. For sure.

About the only thing I could think of, is that 18 Angstrom should’ve been written as 18 nm in order for Intel to have a better yield than TSMC’s at the time that the article was written.

What little I know about it is Intels 18A fab which is supposedly better than TSMCs 2nm factory. I would sure take that with a grain of salt. You would think it would be more or all fabs in the deal 

intel foundaries....so are they talking xeon with ai ip of nvidia, tsmc, amd, etc? something more unique to the usa foundaries?

Hopefully TSMC's CEO pleased Trump on no tariffs on chips with the additional 100 billion to be spent on 5 additional chip factories in the US. We'll see 

You made some great points. The only upside I see if this were to transpire is tariff relief if that were to be slapped on chips coming from Taiwan. I’m sure NVDA, AMD and AVGO would prefer to not be in the foundry business…….unless?

My opinion lets hope not it would be a cement block around their neck. If they were in JV they would have to take their quota of chips whether they want it or not, along with all the other problems associated with owning Fabs. If they stay Fabless they can decide who they get chips from no strings attached. Some might say it would solve their supply constraints maybe, maybe not. Supply constraints help keep margins higher IMO.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing   TSM ?2.77%  has proposed a joint venture (JV) with Nvidia   NVDA ?4.82% , Advanced Micro Devices   AMD ?1.90% , and Broadcom   AVGO ?2.69%  to operate Intel’s   INTC ?2.58%  struggling U.S. foundries. The news was first reported by Reuters, citing people familiar with the matter. Intel stock has lost 55.8% in the past year, but shares are up nearly 7% in pre-market trading at the time of writing, probably propelled by the JV news.

Some good news. Oracle, in their earnings report, stated they’re going to purchase 64,000 GB200 Nvidia GPUs.

n the absence of such a move, Nvidia investors will hoping the market eventually focuses on continued signs of strong demand for its hardware. Oracle said in its earnings report on Monday that the software company is building an AI-training cluster containing 64,000 of Nvidia’s GB200 chips.
