The company recently reported that it has 84.25 million shares sold short, which is 26.85% of all regular shares that are available for trading. Based on its trading volume, it would take traders 2.05 days to cover their short positions on average.

This should be much higher soon.

My thoughts as well! 

I own MARA. 

Just a visual concept. New miners moves faster 1st cycle. Then worse and repeat like the rest. Mara should be the apple of phones tesla of vehicles. The mining to BTC. Doing everything right. 

For reall putting BTC on the books and big #'s like MSTR plus mining & hodling Bitcoin. As an american miner for the future and acquiring bitcoin before other institutions businesses or entities. I figured this would at least hit a high. What all miners get 1 good 4 year cycle and all die into the abyss price wise. This is the top miner with the most bitcoin. I feel this should be at least trip what the price is. If doesn't, makes established miners and all miners obsolete (in the markets) and hodling while mining pointless. (Which you know isn't true if you were mining but any stock that does makes it way to the trash after it gets a cycle?) 
I hope this is not ture...

MARA reports earnings on Nov 7. And the massive HODL of Bitcoin they own gets added to their balance sheet.

At that point Wall Street will take notice and a big run will start.

I am looking for at least a $40 share price by May 2025.

This stock is a winner and it is just a matter of time.

The miner stocks with the larger HODL of Bitcoin will routinely get their share price hammered because the new FASB accounting rules that require their BTC to be valued as a LOSS or a GAIN on the balance sheet based on the current BTC price, regardless of whether they actually sell the BTC and realize the loss or gain. If they held dollars in treasury instead of Bitcoin this would not be the case.

So in my opinion, there is a massive mis-understanding of the true value of certain miner stocks. This serves to increase the price volatility of the shares which can be a good thing for trading. In my case I am selling covered call options and making bank every week. But I have to be very careful in pricing what I sell.

So watch out when Bitcoin finally does break to the upside as these miners with the larger HODL will quickly explode upward in share price. The miner stocks have always been a proxy for the price of Bitcoin, with higher percentage gains (or loss) with respect to Bitcoin. This will be fantastic for the Miner Stock Longs. It is just a matter of time.

All eyes on MARA as Bitcoin reaches back for $62k

"Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $145.1 million, compared with $81.8 million a year earlier"

I realize that revenue is not the same as profit, if that is your concern.

Any financial shortcoming they might have will be solved when Bitcoin reaches $95K per coin, which is the point of upside resistance..

I have been on these investment forums for multiple decades and I know how the game is played. It is all about self-interest. Members post disparaging info, sometimes not true or distorted, to get others to panic and dump their shares in the hope that the share price will fall and the poster can buy up the cheapies. This is why this forum and all the others are basically near worthless for relevant investment information. Everyone should do their own due diligence and NEVER make investment decisions based on what they read here.

There are basically only two ways to manage investments that actually produce positive results, Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis, neither of which happen on these forums.

All just my opinion...

All I see here is more dilution as far as the eye can see. They do not make money and seeing that they have gone to a HODL strategy only, dilution is the only way they can fund operations. Thiel makes it way too easy for the shorts. Probably the best company to short on the market.

There is a lack of real market makers here like crypto which brings big swings when size shows up to buy or sell in my opinion.

I think it's just finding it's new range....why would the ETF's want to buy at 52 week high so they halted buying. It is probably much easier to short Bitcoin since Wall street has "accepted" it. I think it's ultimately toast now that Wall Street can short it. If they " break" it..... it's over imo.
