ANNOUNCEMENT ON KEY OPERATING DATA OF JANUARY 2024
The enclosed announcement (the "SSE
Announcement") was published by Air China Limited (the
"Air China") on the Shanghai Stock Exchange
on 19 February 2024, which contains combined operating data for
January 2024 for Air China and its subsidiaries (collectively, the
"Group"). This announcement enclosing the
SSE Announcement is made by Air China pursuant to Rules 13.09 and
13.10B of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The
Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing
Rules") and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined in
the Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures
Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
The data in the enclosed SSE Announcement was
calculated based on the internal statistics of the Group, which may

ANNOUNCEMENT ON KEY OPERATING DATA OF JANUARY 2024
In January 2024, Air China Limited (the "Company") and its subsidiaries (the "Group") recorded a year-on-year and a month-on-month
increase in combined passenger traffic (measured by revenue
passenger kilometers (the "RPK")). Passenger
capacity (measured by available seat kilometers (the "ASK")) recorded a year-on-year increase of 53.1%, and a
month-on-month increase of 8.9%. Passenger traffic recorded a
year-on-year increase of 69.1% and a month-on-month increase of
12.1%. Among which, for domestic routes, passenger capacity
increased by 18.1% year on year and increased by 11.0% month on
month, and passenger traffic increased by 31.9% year on year and
increased by 13.1% month on month. For international routes,
passenger capacity increased by 844.9% and increased by 4.0% as
compared to the same period last year and the previous month,
respectively, and passenger traffic increased by 1,093.3% and
increased by 10.0% as compared to the same period last year and the
previous month, respectively. For regional routes, passenger
capacity increased by 150.1% and increased by 2.0% as compared to
the same period last year and the previous month, respectively, and
passenger traffic recorded an increase of 175.4% year on year and
an increase of 4.3% month on month. The passenger load factor was
77.6%, representing an increase of 7.3 percentage points as
compared to the same period last year and an increase of 2.2
percentage points as compared to the previous month. Among which,
the passenger load factor for domestic routes increased by 8.3
percentage points year on year and increased by 1.4 percentage
points month on month, the passenger load factor for international
routes increased by 15.4 percentage points and increased by 4.0
percentage points as compared to the same period last year and the
previous month, respectively, and the passenger load factor for
regional routes increased by 6.4 percentage points year on year and
increased by 1.5 percentage points month on month.
In terms of cargo operations, cargo capacity (measured
by available freight tonne kilometers (the "AFTK")) increased by 84.6% year on year and increased by
9.1% month on month. Cargo and mail traffic (measured by revenue
freight tonne kilometers (the "RFTK"))
increased by 163.9% year on year and increased by 1.2% month on
month. The cargo load factor was 34.3%, representing a year-on-year
increase of 10.3 percentage points and a month-on-month decrease of
2.7 percentage points.
In January 2024, the Group introduced one ARJ21-700
aircraft, four A320 series aircraft, two B737 series aircraft and
retired four A320 series aircraft. As at the end of January 2024,
the Group operated a fleet of 908 aircraft, including 395
self-owned aircraft, 216 aircraft under finance lease and 297
aircraft under operating lease.

periodic reports will include relevant fleet information and
