New Product Launch

Armour, the UK's leading consumer electronics group focused on the in-car communications and entertainment and home entertainment markets, is pleased to announce that Armour Automotive, its wholly owned subsidiary, has launched under its iO brand (www.my-io.com) the next generation of in-vehicle music streaming and hands free solutions. Incorporating leading edge wireless technology, this advanced range of products introduces a number of unique features and improvements in functionality to significantly enhance sound quality, driver safety and ease of use.

The two new products, iO Play2, which is aimed at the consumer market and iO Talk2, which is targeted at the professional and business markets, went on sale in September to positive customer feedback with all of the initial stock shipment being sold through in the first three weeks. The products are being marketed across a wide range of sales channels including retail, car dealerships, professional installers and corporate users. Armour anticipates that the iO brand will grow into a significant proportion of Armour Automotive's sales within the next 12 months as the products establish themselves both in the UK and international markets.
