BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES

Bergesen has today bought 45,000 of its own shares, being 30,000 A-shares and
15,000 B-shares for NOK 133.53 and NOK 113.83 per share respectively.

After this purchase Bergesen owns totally 2,002,650 of its own shares, being
1,827,500 A-shares and 175,150 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 57,619,406.
