                  COBURG GROUP PLC ("Coburg" or the "Company")

The following replaces the Issue of Equity announcement released today at
11.01am under RNS number 4163T.

Westcombe Investments Limited purchased 387,500 Placing Shares and not Mr Robin
Hendy as previously stated and that Westcombe Investments Limited and its
associates now hold 1,002,500 ordinary shares representing 6.04% of the
Company's issued share capital.

In addition Mr Konrad Legg is the non-executive chairman and Mr Alistair Summers
is the group chief executive.

All other details remain unchanged. and the full amended text appears below:

                              ADMISSION OF SHARES

Coburg is pleased to announce that it has successfully raised #320,000 by way of
an issue of 4,000,000 new ordinary shares of 5 pence ("Placing Shares") at 8
pence per share. The funding will be used to assist in the expansion and
development of the business

Under the placing the directors Mr Konrad Legg, Ms Anne Higgins, Mr Jeremy
Maynard and Mr Alistair Summers subscribed for the following Placing Shares:

Mr Michael Cronk purchased 312,500 Placing Shares. This takes his total
shareholding to 1,482,500 representing 8.94% of the Company's issued share
capital.

Westcombe Investments Limited purchased 387,500 Placing Shares. This takes the
company's total holding to 1,002,500 ordinary shares representing 6.04% of the
Company's issued share capital.

Application has been made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on
the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. Dealings in the
4,000,000 shares are expected to commence on Tuesday 23 December 2003.

The Placing Shares will rank pari passu with existing shares in issue.
